Bus Transportation

Riverdale Park residents and visitors have several options when it comes to bus transportation to get you to where you want to be.

Metrobus
Metrobus is operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). Metrobus provides more than 400,000 rides per day. TheBus
Prince George's County operates TheBus, a County bus service, to meet local transportation needs of its residents and visitors. TheBus' fixed route system consists of 28 routes that cover more than 10,000 miles throughout the County. TheBus operates Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To view route maps and schedules for TheBus, click here

Route 1 Ride
The Route 1 Ride runs Monday through Friday between 5:30 a.m. and 8:05 p.m. along the Route 1 corridor from Mount Rainier and the Washington D.C. line to North College Park. For more information, visit their website or call 301-324-2877.

Riverdale Park Station Shuttle
Riverdale Park Station features a FREE daily shuttle from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It runs between Riverdale Park Station, College Park Metro Station and Prince George’s Plaza Metro Station. The shuttle stop is located in front of the Whole Foods building on 45th Street.
