Police Report

Report Request:

The Records Department is the central repository for all official reports generated from the Riverdale Park Police Department. The current year and last year's reports are kept in office while older reports are kept in archives. If you wish to request a copy of a report that is over a year, please call the department in advance to ensure that staff has adequate time to search for your request.

Vehicle Accident Reports
For vehicle accidents reports, please allow 5-7 business days after the incident.  You may request your vehicle accident report at: CRASHDOCS.ORG .  The cost for the accident report is $25.00 payable by credit card.

Requests for Copies of: 

  • Damaged property
  • Police Incident Reports*
  • Crime Reports*

NOTE: Please be prepared to provide a case number when making your request.  If you do not have the case number, be prepared to provide the date, time, and location of the incident.

All report copies released will be sent electronically and the fee waived. 
*Requires in-person identity verification

Flagging Release (MVA):

To receive a flagging release (VR-119) you will need to first pay your outstanding citation. Once your fine is paid in full there is an additional $25 fee (cash or money order) for the flagging release.
